Naild'it Holiday Polish Swatches: Part 2

Hello readers! I'm back today with more Naild'it Holiday Collection polishes! If you missed it, here is my post on Part 1 from yesterday: Naild'it Holiday Polish Swatches: Part 1.

Peppermint Twist, Sugar Plum Dreams, Its Grinchmas Time, and Once Upon A Gingerbread Man.

Up first is Peppermint Twist. It is a clear base with red(some are hearts!) and white matte glitters as well as some holo shimmer. Guess what? It's scented! It smells like peppermints! Super cool and caught me by surprise when I started painting my nails. I could still smell it after a coat of Poshe top coat as well! I'm showing one coat over China Glaze Passion with one coat of top coat. Moved around the glitters a bit but no issues to report.

The holo shimmer is lost in my swatches because I layered over a shiny metallic gold.

Sugar Plum Dreams is next. It's really pretty! This was my daughter, Hailey(4 1/2)'s, favorite out of the box when we were unpacking it. It's a really special polish, pinkish purple base color full of shimmer and holo pink and purple glitters(and a handful of purple hearts hidden in there). I even think it flashes purple at some angles to the light. I'm showing 2 coats with one coat of top coat below. No issues to report.

See the purple flash near the shine spots on the nails?

It's Grinchmas Time is a clear base(may be slightly tinted red but just the tiniest bit) with red and green micro glitters. I chose to wear one coat of this over Sally Hansen Going Green but the green glitters are sort of lost in this combo. You can see it over white at Nicole's Post from Nail Polish Wars. This is only one coat with one coat of top coat. As you can see, it needs another coat of top coat to smooth out some bumps. No issues to report.

You can see the green glitters are camouflaged against the base color. The shimmer is from the base color, not It's Grinchmas Time.

Finally we have Once Upon A Gingerbread Man. This is another scented one! I actually preferred this scent over the peppermint one. This is a super fun polish and I had nothing like it in my collection already! Clear base with mostly brown glitters, and then a handful of other glitter colors/shapes mixed in. So fun! I decided to layer two coats over Milani Chocolate Sprinkles with one coat of top coat. No issues to report, I think this is my favorite out of today's set!

So what do you think of these polishes? I have one more part of this collection to show you tomorrow so make sure you check back!

From my understanding, the three online retailers that carry Naild'it will have exclusive colors from this collection as well as the other non-exclusive ones. Check out Naild'it's Facebook to see where you can purchase the ones you want!

Hello readers! I have the final post on the Naild'it Holiday Collection for you today. If you missed them, here are part 1 and part 2 from the past couple of days:

Naild'it Holiday Polish Swatches: Part 1

Silent Night, Marshmallow Fellow, Rudolf Knows, Santy Claws Soot.

Up first is Silent Night. This is a steel blue base that flashes purple and is packed with holo shimmer and blue glitters(including stars!). I'm showing 3 coats below with one coat of top coat. No issues to report on this one.

You can see the purple flash toward the shine on the nail!

Onto Marshmallow Fellow. This is a delicate pale lilac color but it's frosty and the brushstrokes are noticeable so I know some of you may not like that. It has holo shimmer and holo purple mini glitters throughout. This is only 2 coats with one coat of top coat. No issues to report.

Holo glitters!

Next is my favorite of this set, Rudolf Knows. This is a killer holiday red and I love it! It's a red tinted jelly base with tons of red holo glitters and it is so sparkly! I love this so much!! I'm showing 3 coats with one coat of top coat.

And finally we have Santy Claws Soot. This name is too funny. It's a slightly red tinted clear base with holo red, white, black, and gold glitters. I chose to layer one coat over Milani Black Swift and one coat of top coat. No issues to report.

So what do you think of these final 4 colors of the Naild'it Holiday Collection? Favorites? I am so glad I was able to share this collection with you all!

From my understanding, the three online retailers that carry Naild'it will have exclusive colors from this collection as well as the other non-exclusive ones. Check out Naild'it's Facebook to see where you can purchase the ones you want!

Sea Lore Wintry Friends Day 1: Glacial Grayling!

Good morning readers! I have an exciting 5 posts planned for you on the new collection from Sea Lore! This collection is called Wintry Friends and is inspired by some arctic animals and the names are super cute! I decided to do some nail art to match the polish names as well.

There are 5 in this collection and 4 of them are 2 coaters! The exception is Beluga Blizzard, a snowy white glitter that is great as a topper but it may build up if you do 3-4 coats on it's own. They are a great winter collection because the colors can be worn all year round!

Arctic Otter, Snowy Seal, Wintry Whale, Beluga Blizzard, and Glacial Grayling.

Today I'm showing you Glacial Grayling! Jamie describes it as a "blue grey shimmering base with iridescent rainbow squares and holographic micro glitter." There are micro flakes that are making the base shimmery--this polish is so complex! I love love love it! We used to fish for Grayling when we were stationed in Alaska so I was really excited to see this in the Wintry Friends Collection! I'm showing 2 coats below with 2 coats of Poshe top coat. Definitely let these dry before adding the second coat because they are so packed with glitter that you don't want to drag off the first layer before it has properly dried. All of these polishes seem to be "hungry for top coat" because one coat of top coat dries a bit textured so they need a second. I recommend two coats of top coat or even Gelous before your fast dry top coat.

If you are unsure of what a Grayling is, here is an image I got from Sea Lore's Facebook Page:

That's my cute little Grayling freehand art.

Look at those gorgeous flakes, holo mini glitters, and bigger iridescent squares!

So what do you think of Glacial Grayling? I am shocked at how much I loved this when I wore it! I'm not typically a gray person but this is so complex that it's right up my alley! I can't wait to show you the other 4 Wintry Friends, so check back each day for the next one! Thanks for reading!

All of Sea Lore's polishes are hand mixed, Cruelty Free, and 3-Free! They can be purchased online here: http://www.sealore.net/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65_71

They come in full size 15ml bottles for $10 and mini size 7.5ml bottles for $5.50.

Sea Lore Wintry Friends Day 2: Snowy Seal!

Hello readers! Are you ready for day 2 of Sea Lore's Wintry Friends Collection? If you missed it, check yesterday's post on Glacial Grayling!

I'm showing Snowy Seal today and did some nail art inspired by the name of the polish as well! Jamie describes it as a "silver shimmering base with gunmetal and crystal hexes as well as silver and white glitter." This is gorgeous! It has the look of a metallic silver foil but is packed with shimmer and glitter to make it way more interesting. I'm showing 2 coats with 2 coats of Poshe top coat. As with the others of this set, they are "hungry for top coat" and need more than one coat(or the use of Gelous before your favorite quick dry) of top coat if texture bothers you. Also, they are so packed that you should let the first coat dry before adding the second to prevent any dragging.

What do you think of my snowy seal nail art?

I can see icy blue micro flakes!

What do you think of Snowy Seal? I can't wait for you to see the other 3 in this collection so check back tomorrow for Day 3! Thanks for reading!

Sea Lore Wintry Friends Day 3: Wintry Whale!

Hello readers! Are you ready for day 3 of Sea Lore's Wintry Friends Collection? Yesterday I showed you Snowy Seal so make sure you go check out that post if you missed it. Glacial Grayling was Saturday's post so check that one out as well if you missed it! Today, I have my favorite from the collection to show you. It's blue(are you surprised that it's my favorite? hehe) and so gorgeous!

Wintry Whale is described as a "dark blue shimmering base with several shades of blue glitter and baby blue squares." This was my very favorite of the set. It made me think of blue jeans with some added sparkle! As with the two I've already shown you, I did 2 coats followed by 2 coats of Poshe top coat. It's a top coat eater so Gelous may be your friend with this collection. I had no application issues, but make sure you let the first coat dry before adding the second coat so you don't get any dragging. I also did a cute little whale on my accent nail!

My cute little wintry whale.

How amazing is this polish?!

What do you think of Wintry Whale? If you are a blue lover, it's a must have in your collection. There are 2 more Wintry Friends to show you in the next couple of days so check back tomorrow! Thanks for reading!

Sea Lore Wintry Friends Day 4: Arctic Otter!

Good morning! It's time for the next polish from Sea Lore's Wintry Friends Collection! If you missed my last 3 posts on Glacial Grayling, Snowy Seal, and Wintry Whale, please be sure to check them out!

Today I have Arctic Otter! Jamie describes it as a "dark brown shimmering base with beige squares and tiny champagne glitter." It is so shimmery that it reminds me of a metallic brown! I had no issues with application and I am showing 2 coats with 2 coats of top coat. Make sure you let the first coat dry before adding the second to prevent any dragging. It's a hungry glitter so Gelous or two coats of your favorite top coat will help with the texture. I decided to do a cute little otter head on my accent nail!

Such a pretty brown polish!!

Hi little otter!

Look at the flakies!

This was my husband's favorite when we were looking at the bottles when they came in the mail. It is definitely gorgeous and I am so happy I have it in my collection! I don't have many browns and this one is a winner! What do you think of Arctic Otter? We took a boat tour when we lived in Alaska and we got to see the otters floating around on their backs in the ocean! They are so adorable!

I can't wait to show you the final polish in the Sea Lore Wintry Friends Collection so check back tomorrow for that! Thanks for reading!

Sea Lore Wintry Friends Day 5: Beluga Blizzard!

Hello readers! Today's post is the final polish of Sea Lore's new Wintry Friends Collection. I hope you got to see the previous 4 posts on Glacial Grayling, Snowy Seal, Wintry Whale, and Arctic Otter. Be sure to check them out if you missed any of them, these polishes are gorgeous!

Our final polish is called Beluga Blizzard. This is the only one from the collection that I wore a base color with. I'm guessing you can get it to full coverage after 3-4 coats but I chose to layer one coat over Milani White On The Spot to save time. It's a great topper and looks awesome over other colors, too.  You can see a nail wheel photo of Beluga Blizzard over other base colors on Sea Lore's Facebook Page HERE. I think I'll do some wintry nail art with it this season!

As with the others in this collection, it's a hungry glitter so 2 coats of top coat or the use of Gelous is recommended. It went on easily and is described as a "pearl white iridescent shimmering base with various shades of snow white glitter." The iridescent shimmers looked blue and pink to me in person and I *think* I got them to show enough in one of my pictures for you to see. GORGEOUS complexity to this white glitter polish. I did a beluga whale for my accent nail.

You can see some of the blue iridescent shimmer on my middle and index finger.

Hi there, baby beluga!

What do you think of Beluga Blizzard? When we were at Sea World last winter, we got to see the beluga whales and Hailey loved them! Did you know that they are called "sea canaries" because they sing underwater when they are communicating?

I hope you enjoyed these 5 posts on the new Wintry Friends Collection from Sea Lore! Here is a little picture collage with all of them:

Which are your favorites?

HARE Illuminated Life Collection Swatches!

$

Hello readers! I have what I think is my absolute favorite Fall collection from this year to share with you today. It has the coolest inspiration and it stands out to me because of the awesome glowy iridescent glitters. The Illuminated Life Collection by HARE Polish was inspired by marine bioluminescence and I'm a total marine lover so this is right up my alley! We have had salt water aquariums for years and I almost went to school to become a Marine Biologist. These polishes are just fabulous!

They are 4 jelly bases with glowing iridescent glitters and flecks and I can't stop staring at my nails while wearing them. Nikole was kind enough to send 2 of them in my review package and even my hubby agreed that I needed to get my hands on the other 2 of the collection after seeing them in person. I am SO happy I was able to buy the other 2.

Bury The Hatchetfish. Atolla, Medusa Luminosa, and Electric Flame.

Let's start off with my very favorite out of this collection: Atolla. This is inspired by the Atolla jellyfish. I am not usually a pink person and yet I love love love this! It's a reddish pink(magenta?) jelly with glowy blue/purple glitters and glass flecks. These polishes are all thick for jellies so be aware of that while applying. I heard rumor that these polishes had application issues but I didn't have problems as long as I wasn't doing too many strokes over it and also letting it dry before the second coat. I am showing 2 coats with 2 coats of Poshe top coat below because they are a bit hungry for top coat.

Look at that glowing glitter!

Next we have Medusa Luminosa. It is also inspired by a jellyfish-- the Pelagia noctiluca or Medusa Luminosa in Italian. It is a bright purple jelly base packed with gold glass flecks, glowing blue glitter, and pink microglitter. My pictures are pulling more blue than the color is in person so I apologize for that. It zeroed in on that gorgeous blue iridescent glitter and you all know how hard it is to photograph purples. As with Atolla, I'm showing 2 coats with 2 coats of Poshe top coat. Absolutely gorgeous!

Electric Flame is next and is inspired by the Electric Flame Scallop. We actually had an Electric Flame Scallop in our saltwater tank a couple of years ago and this is spot on with the color! It is a pink toned bright orange jelly with blue and purple glass flecks as well as the glowing iridescent blue glitter. I'm showing 2 coats with 2 coats of Poshe top coat below. There is more VNL(visible nail line) in this polish for me so you may try 3 coats if that is something that bothers you.

The blue iridescent glitters look pink and purple in this color base. I love the pinker tone it gives the orange. It made it much more wearable for me!

Finally, we have Bury The Hatchetfish. Clever name! It was inspired by the Hatchetfish and is a really interesting color combination. It's a tan (or even more taupe on me) jelly base with glowing blue iridescent glitters and glass flecks. I love that it is a neutral color with bright glowing glitters! I chose to wear 3 coats below with 2 coats of Poshe top coat.

The blue glass flecks look green!

What are your thoughts on this collection? It's so interesting that the same iridescent glowy blue glitters are in all 4 polishes, and yet they all have a different look when combined with the different bases! I absolutely love them! On the thicker side but that made for less cleanup on my end! Which is your favorite?

HARE Polish Amethystos and Oceans of Alloys Swatches!

Good morning, readers! I have a couple more HARE polishes to show you today! Amethystos and Oceans of Alloys are from the Finder's Keepers Fall 2012 Collection and they are packed with glitter! I really love them! They were thinner than the Illuminated Life Collection and therefore a bit easier to apply. I only needed 2 coats of each and one coat of top coat.

Let's start with Amethystos first! It's a gorgeous purple jelly with a TON of glitter. These are just 2 coats with no base coat. There are blue iridescent, silver, pink, and gold glitter as well as gold shimmery flecks. Just a gorgeous combo!

Now onto Oceans of Alloys! I am digging this jelly base color!! A dusty blue teal with the same iridescent blue glitter, gold and copper glitters, and gold shimmer flecks.Very cool! Also just showing 2 coats with one coat of top coat. The copper squares seem to have reflective curling because I didn't feel them with top coat on once I saw it in my pictures.

So what do you think of these two polishes from the Finder's Keepers Fall 2012 collection? You can see the rest of this collection at the HARE Polish blog here: http://www.harepolish.com/2012/10/finders-keepers-fall-2012.html

I really like them and am so glad to have them in my collection!

Hello readers! I have my final HARE Polish to show you today. This is from the third Fall collection called Antiquities! Rusty Hearts is a rusty red jelly with a ton of gold shimmer! It's stunning and a perfect color for fall! I'm showing 2 good coats with top coat. I had no issues with application and the shimmer in the light is gorgeous!

Look at that gorgeous gold flecks!

What do you think of Rusty Hearts? There is a second polish in the Antiquities Collection and you can see it on the HARE Polish blog here: http://www.harepolish.com/2012/10/antiquities-fall-2012.html

Maya Cosmetics Smolder and No Big Deal Swatches!

Hello readers! I have 2 more polishes from Maya Cosmetics to show you today! These are two gorgeous shimmers and I really like them! Both only needed 2 coats but make sure you let the first coat dry before applying the second one to avoid any dragging.

Smolder and No Big Deal

Smolder is described as "a blackened plummy brown with a pink/red/bronze shimmer." That shimmer is definitely color changing depending on the angle to the light and is really pretty! I used two coats with one coat of top coat below.

The shimmer is a bit hidden in my lightbox.

When turned to the light, the shimmer comes out to play!

You can see the color change in the shimmer above!

Onto No Big Deal! It is described as a "green leaning charcoal base with blue flakes as well as green/gold/blue color shifting micro flakes!" Another really pretty polish and I don't have anything like it in my collection! Again, I used 2 coats with top coat in the pictures below. I don't think I was able to capture any color change of the flakes in my photos.

What do you think of these two new Maya Cosmetics polishes? They retail for $8 each and can be purchased here: http://www.maya-cosmetics.com/

Hello readers! I am excited to have 5 straight days of festive nail art for you! I know I am often showing swatches these days and nail art has taken a back burner due to the time it requires(which basically means it will take more of my sleep time since I can't do it while the kids are awake), so this will be a good thing for everyone! I really miss nail art and can't wait for you to see all 5 manis!

Today, I'll be showing my favorite out of the 5 nail art designs. I can't take the credit, however, because this was all my hubby's idea! I love asking for his opinions and help and he thought it would be a really fun use for flocking powder to do the Abominable Snowman fuzzy as well as Rudolf's nose to give it a "glowing" look. Check it out!

The only flocking powder I could find at the craft store had glitter mixed in. So I guess they are a little more festive when they sparkle!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
3 coats of Butter London Sprog
1 coat of Sea Lore Beluga Blizzard for the snowy nails

Abominable Snowman:
Milani White On The Spot
Milani Black Swift
Cult Nails My Kind Of Cool Aid
White flocking powder

Rudolf:
OPI Wouldn't Shoe Like To Know?
OPI Suzy Loves Cowboys
Maya Cosmetics Like A Boss
Milani Rapid Cherry
Milani White On The Spot
Milani Black Swift
Red flocking powder

What do you think? Thanks for reading and check back tomorrow for the next festive nail art!

Are you ready for my second festive nail art mani? This Christmas tree watermarble took me a zillion tries and redos and it ended up way different than I was envisioning but I like how it turned out. Of course, I had to add some presents :)

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote

Tree:
Milani White On The Spot Base Coat
marbled with China Glaze Starboard and OPI Alpine Snow
OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys for the trunk
China Glaze Passion for the star
Milani Rapid Cherry for the ornaments

Presents:
3 coats of Naild'it Rudolf Knows
Born pretty gold striping tape and bow accents

Poshe top coat.

What do you think? Thanks for reading and check back tomorrow for the next festive mani!

Hello readers! I have another festive nail art design to show you today! I have been wanting to use this stamp design ever since I got this 2nd set of Bundle Monster plates but never did until now. I stamped with the green and bronze and then went back with my dotting tool to add in the red accents. Quick and simple, yet cute Christmasy design!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of Milani White On The Spot
Bundle Monster stamp plate BM-222
China Glaze Starboard
Essence Just In Case
Milani Rapid Cherry

What do you think? Thanks for reading and check back tomorrow!

Digit-al Dozen DOES Festiveness: Santa Suit Nails!

Hello readers! It's day 4 of Festiveness and I'm having fun with this challenge! After I got flocking powder, I've started brainstorming of the tons of nail art ideas I could use it in. That's how today's mani happened. I decided to do a simple french manicure but make it look like Santa's suit with the fluffy white trim! Super easy and festive at the same time! I even just used the regular polish bottle brush for the white tips, so no nail art brushes needed!

I chose to do Zoya Posh as the red suit color and left it matte and I think it really looks like fabric more than it would have with top coat.

Look at the fuzzy tips!!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of Zoya Posh
Milani White On The Spot
White flocking powder

What do you think? Have you tried using flocking powder on your nails? Come see my tutorial if you are unsure what it is and how to use it: http://www.adventuresinacetone.com/2012/11/born-pretty-velvet-manicure-review-and.html

Thanks for reading! Come back tomorrow for the final day of Festiveness and another mani using flocking powder!

Digit-al Dozen DOES Festiveness: Wreath Nails!

Good morning, readers! It's time to show you my last festive mani! I found another use for flocking powder--wreaths! But aside from those, can we just look at that gorgeous base color? I'm not a big gold lover but OPI Goldeneye is stunning! This is only 2 coats of Goldeneye for full coverage which really surprised me!

I did the entire nail design and then used a coat of Poshe top coat to dry it quickly. Once it was dry, I went back over the wreath with green and then quickly pressed flocking powder into it before moving onto the next nail.

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of OPI Goldeneye
China Glaze Starboard for wreath
Zoya Posh for the bow
Green Flocking powder
Poshe top coat

What do you think? Did you like the 5 Days of Festiveness? Here is a collage of all 5 together if you missed them:

Holiday Saran Wrap Nails!

Hello readers! I hope you aren't sick of holiday themed nails because I have another mani to show you! We just recently moved to another state so I probably won't be posting that often for a few weeks until the chaos calms down around here with setting up the new house as well as the holidays.

I did, however, find the time to do a cute and easy holiday design yesterday! Last week, I saw this super awesome Hanukkah mani from Lacquered Lover and decided to do a red over the OPI Goldeneye instead to represent Christmas. We decided on OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress and I think it turned out to be a great match!

After letting 2 coats of OPI Goldeneye dry, I did one coat of OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress and then took a small ball of crumpled up saran wrap and dabbed it onto the wet red to pull some color up and show the gold base. I did this one nail at a time so the polish was wet and pulled up easily. It creates a neat, marbled effect and I love it!

I also have been seeing these triangle tape Christmas tree nail designs all over lately and thought it would be a cute accent nail design. I just took 2 pieces of striping tape and made a triangle, painted one coat of Zoya Veruschuka and peeled up the tape while the polish was still wet. I then painted on some Red Dog Designs Unicorn Kisses glitter polish for "ornaments" on the tree. Next, a dab of top coat and a nail art star to top the tree. I used a coat of Maya Cosmetics Smoothing Coat followed by a coat of Poshe to cover the thick, sharp star. I was shocked at how well the Smoothing Coat covered the star! Definitely like it more than Gelous.

Now that I'm done blabbing, onto the pics!

Elixir Lacquers LE Elixiversary Swatches!

$

Hello readers! Have you missed me? ;) Boy, has it been crazy around here! We moved the first week in December from Georgia to Florida and bought our first house! It's been a whirlwind of chaos around here with the holidays as well as setting up the new house so blogging had to take the back seat for a bit. Things haven't calmed down that much as far as the house goes, but at least the holidays are over so it frees up a teeny bit of time for me to get some blog posts up for you.

I have a handful of polishes waiting to be swatched and I hope you are excited because Monday starts this month's Digital Dozen nail art week! The theme is Art so make sure you come see what I have in store!

As for today's post, I have a special polish to show you! Elixir Lacquers is having it's first Anniversary and Nicole created this gorgeous glitter polish in celebration of it! It's called Elixiversary and will be limited edition with only 75 bottles available. There will be three releases with 25 bottles available in each so I hope you get to snag one! The release dates are at 1:00pm EST on: January 16th, February 16th, and March 16th.

Elixiversary is a multishaped and multicolored glitter topper in a clear base. There are a ton of different shapes, and I am seeing white, blue, purple, pink, silver holo, and iridescent micro glitter! I think it would look great over a lot of colors and I chose to layer it over Illamasqua Noble. The blue squares and circles kind of blend into the base color at a distance, though, so maybe next time I'll try it over a color not so close to one of the glitters.

The glitters are heavy so I flipped my bottle upside down for a few minutes prior to application to make them sink back to the top. This is two coats over the base color. I did have to dab and place a few glitters where I wanted them and I didn't get any of the really large white hex on my nails, but overall this gorgeous glitter topper was worth the extra effort. I love the extra added sparkle of the iridescent micro glitters as well!

Circles, squares, hexes, and diamonds!

Hello, pretty rainbow!

Check out that iridescent micro glitter!

Elixir Lacquers Roller Derby Ruckus!

Hello readers! I have another post for you today, and it is on a couple more new Elixir Lacquers! I have 2 of the new Roller Derby Ruckus Collection polishes to share with you tonight-- Shamrock Shakedown and Missy Mayhem.

First of all, I LOVE the names! So cute!

Shamrock Shakedown and Missy Mayhem!

Both are glitter toppers in a clear base so I've chosen coordinating base creme polishes to layer them over.

Let's start with Shamrock Shakedown! I'm showing 2 coats with top coat over Essie Mojito Madness. A clear base with hexes in greens, gold and yellow, as well as squares in gold and iridescent glitter. I liked this one more than I expected, and I think it has to do with the gold squares! They were so luxurious on the nail! This applied easily and I had no issues to report.

More rainbows!

Onward to Missy Mayhem! I've layered only one coat over Butter London Sprog with top coat below. This glitter mixture has my very favorite colors in one place! Purple, teal, periwinkle, white, and iridescent blue. There are squares and hexes and it's a really fun combo! My only concern is that the iridescent blue hexes can appear an odd olive green color at the wrong angles to the light. You will see in my photos that they sort of look out of place on this base color. However, I had no issues with application at all.

Notice the odd olive green glitter on my pinky.

Such a gorgeous color combo!

So what do you think of these two polishes from the upcoming Elixir Lacquers Roller Derby Ruckus Collection? This collection will be available on February 1st.

The Digit-al Dozen DOES Art: Bansky Graffiti Art!

Hello readers! It's Art week with the Digit-al Dozen! I'm an hour late on posting for day 1, but it's been a really busy day getting my daughter signed up to start school in this new area so the nails had to wait.

I am really not familiar with art so I was stumped for ideas to do this week. My husband actually told me about the graffiti artist, Bansky, and helped me pick one of his works to recreate on my nails!

Here is the google image we found:

This is my attempt at recreating the girl with the balloons. I didn't get her full image onto my nail but I still like how it turned out!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of Essence Movie Star
Milani Black Swift, a dotting tool, and striper brush for the image

What do you think? I still have no idea what my other art inspirations will be this week so check back each day! Thanks for reading!
