The Digit-al Dozen DOES Art: Watercolor Nails!

Hello readers! I am happy that I am getting the post for day 2 up before midnight! I decided to try out the nail art technique referred to as watercolor nails. I used Rebecca's tutorial HERE! It wasn't that difficult and I loved wearing these nails!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of Milani White on the Spot
Illamasqua Noble, Cameo, and Nomad
Acetone and a brush to "water down" the dots
Poshe top coat

What do you think of my first water color nails? I really like how these turned out and it wasn't difficult once I got the hang of it! Thanks for reading!

The Digit-al Dozen DOES Art: Abstract Lines!

Hello readers! Are you enjoying Art week? It's day 3 and today's post is an abstract line design using some Butter London polishes! I found a Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in my drawer and realized that it would work pretty well for this line design and it saved me a lot of time! I think it's basically like a permanent black marker but it worked! Then, I just filled in the shapes with the 4 different Butter London colors.

A little bumpy from the pen, but I still like it!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
Base color of Milani White on the Spot
Black Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen
Butter Londons Bluey, Blagger, Slapper, and Sprog.
Poshe top coat

What do you think? I really like how it turned out! Come back tomorrow to see what else I've come  up with for Art Week! Thanks for reading!

The Digit-al Dozen DOES Art: Light Art!

Hello readers! It's Day 4 of Art Week and I like thinking of things that are different than typical paintings and such. I asked the hubby for some ideas and he thought it would be cool if I wrote a word across my nails to represent "light art". Do you know what I'm talking about? A long exposure photograph taken and someone drawing in the air with a flashlight and the photo captures a line wherever the flashlight has been? Here is an example I got from google images:

Here is what I was able to come up with. I wish my neon color showed up more neon, but all in all I like it!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
Milani Black Swift
Striper brush and Milani White on the Spot
Striper brush and Dare Natural Flirt
NYC Grand Central Station top coat

What do you think? Thanks for reading! Come back tomorrow for the final day of Art Week!

Maya Cosmetics Spam!

Hello readers! I have three new Maya Cosmetics polishes to show you today! They are gorgeous and I really love them!

Graceless Lady, For Michelle, and Flyin' Solo.

First up, we have my favorite of the group, Graceless Lady. It is described as a "blue-gray base with silver sparkle, hints of blue and purple spakle, and subtle scattered holo." It's gorgeous and I really love it on my skintone. This is only 2 coats with no top coat. I had no issues with application and really want to put this polish back on.

In direct light to show off the subtle holo.

Onto For Michelle. This is a very special polish to the creator of Maya Cosmetics, Kat. It is in remembrance of her friend who suddenly passed away last year.  All profits from For Michelle will be split between Wounded Warriors Project and Fisher House. How awesome is that? It's described as a "Rosy Red with subtle pink and silver shimmer." The shimmer is so pretty! It could be a one coater, but I put a second for good measure. Shown without top coat. No issues to report.

Gorgeous subtle shimmer!

And lastly, we come to the glitter-- Flyin' Solo! It is a sort of "anti-valentine's day" polish with a "mix of gunmetal, blue/purple iridescent, and black glitters and shards, plus red holo and black hearts!" It is Limited Edition so get it while you can! I love the mixture of glitters here, this is just one coat over For Michelle! Packed and the hearts mostly came out on the brush without me having to dig! I'm showing with one coat of Maya Smoothing Coat.

I love the use of black and red hearts!

What do you think of these new Maya Cosmetics polishes? Which is your favorite?

Maya Cosmetics polishes can be purchased for $8 a bottle until Jan 31st. They are going up to $9.50 a bottle in February. You can find out more about the changes coming to Maya here on the blog: http://maya-cosmeticsnews.blogspot.com/2013/01/upcoming-changes.html

The Digit-al Dozen DOES Art: Fingerpaint Design!

Hello, readers! Well, it's the last day of Art week! This was a challenging week and I am looking forward to seeing what we all come up with for next month's challenge.

However, I am SO in love with my mani I am showing you today, so I guess I saved the best for last. Once again, I asked my wonderful husband for help picking a theme for today's art inspired mani. He is so good to me, and has the best ideas! He hopped on google images for a bit and we both saw this finger painting image and knew it would be really cool to do on nails!

It took some trial and error but once I figured out that doing a needle marble with jelly polishes instead of cremes worked so much better, it was amazing!! I was planning on only doing my swatching hand in this design and then trying out my new Zoya's from the recent promo, but after I saw how it was turning out, I had to do it as a full mani. I can't stop staring at my nails! Is it too early to pick my favorite nail art of the year? LOL

Here is how I did it:

Base Coat of Duri Rejuvacote
1 coat of Milani White on the Spot

One nail at a time:
1 coat of Essie Marshmallow
Random blobs on the nail of:
OPI Do You Think I'm Tex-y?
OPI Ya'll Come Back Ya Hear?
 Zoya Frida
 Nfu-oh JS13
Smallest dotting tool dragged through the color blobs to swirl them together
Poshe top coat

It was seriously so amazingly easy to do these nails! What do  you think? Here is a recap of the entire Art Week:

Ninja Polish Nebula!

Hello, readers! It's been a few days since I've had a post up, would you believe I just took off my finger paint manicure today? It was barely chipped! I can't believe the wear time I got with that--4 days! I didn't have time for nail art tonight but wanted to try out some of my new polishes so I did a simple accent nail manicure. I love how sparkly it is!

Zoya Aurora is gorgeous and makes a wonderful base color for Ninja Polish Nebula! I chose to leave some accent nails of just Aurora because it was too pretty to completely cover up. Ninja Polish Nebula is super awesome as well! Multichrome AND scattered holo glitters?! Check it out!

Ninja Polish Nebula macro. I see tons of colors: gold, orange, pink, purple, blue, and teal!

Macro of Zoya Aurora. Look at those holo specks!

A fun, gorgeous, bottle shot of Nebula!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of Zoya Aurora
3 coats of Ninja Polish Nebula
1 coat of Poshe top coat

What do you think of these two new polishes? Do you have them already?

Ninja Polish Nebula is $9 and is currently in stock at Ninja Polish! Click HERE to buy yours!

Zoya Aurora is $8 and is currently in stock at Zoya.com. Click HERE to buy yours!

Liquidus Nail Gloss Swatch and Review!

$

Good morning, readers! I have a new-to-me indie polish brand to share with you today! It's called Liquidus Nail Gloss! Here is what the owner, Danielle, had to say about her brand:

 "Where nature meets nail polish.
Liquidus is where crystal meets liquid, where trends meet fashion, where nature meets nail polish. Geology runs in my family so all of our nail polishes are inspired by rocks, gems, and minerals. We hand mix and hand pour every bottle to ensure each one meets our standards. All of our nail polishes are 3-Free (free from Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde and Toluene). And all of our nail polishes ship in ecofriendly packages that can be composted and are 100% biodegradable. "
I absolutely love learning the inspiration behind nail polishes and I think the Liquidus brand has a very cool inspiration! I loved Geology in college and love how these ideas have translated into polishes.
Here are the three polishes that Danielle was kind enough to send to me:
Sunstone, Smithsonite, and Peanut Wood.

Let's start off with Smithsonite! This is in my range of favorite colors so I was really excited to receive this one! It's a gorgeous aqua shimmer "inspired by the pearly aqua mineral" it was named after. It is a bit on the frosty side because it is jam packed with the shimmer,  but the brushstrokes weren't too noticeable. I personally don't mind a bit of a frosty look and love colors like that for layering glitters over! I'm showing 3 coats below with top coat and have no issues to report at all.

Next up is Sunstone! This is "inspired by the pale translucent gemstone and combines hues of light yellows and pale pinks." This was also a little frosty but nothing that would deter me from wearing it again. It's so shimmery and yet subdued and less "in your face" than a typical gold polish. It is a delicate and work appropriate color and even my husband commented on how nice it was. I am showing three coats below with top coat. No issues to report.

And finally we come to the glitter of the group, Peanut Wood. "Inspired by the brown and white petrified wood," it is a brown jelly base with two sizes of white square glitters. I loved this one once it was on much more than I expected to. The color combination is really awesome and I loved how the brown base was opaque enough to only need 2-3 coats and yet sheer enough to not cover the white glitter too much and make them muddy looking. I'm showing 3 coats below with top coat and have no issues to report. I didn't really have to dig for the bigger glitter and they covered to almost smooth with just one coat of top coat. When I showed this to my husband, he told me it looked like s'mores!

So tell me your thoughts on these three Liquidus Nail Glosses! Which is your favorite, least favorite, etc?

Liquidus polishes can be purchased for $6 (.25 fl oz) and $9 (.5 fl oz) at the Etsy Shop below.

Colorful Leopard Nail Art!

Hello, readers! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my nail pic I posted on Sunday of this leopard print mani. We took a family trip to Busch Gardens so I thought it was appropriate to do some kind of animal print nails to wear. I was wanting to redo a leopard print after my previous fail and I like this color combo much more!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of Butter London Slapper
Zoya Reagan for the inner spots
OPI Alpine Snow for the spot outlines
Medium, Small, and smallest dotters for the details
Poshe top coat

What do you think of this color combo? Thanks for reading!

GlitterDaze Love Is In The Air Collection!

Hello readers! I have a really fun Valentine's Day Collection to show you today from GlitterDaze! It's called Love Is In The Air and has 9 polishes. 5 are glitter packed polishes, 1 is a buildable glitter topper, and the last 3 are glitter toppers. Most have fun shaped glitter for the theme and I had no issues with any of them!

Let's start off with You Give Me Butterflies! This is what Sana has to say about it: "Butterflies in our stomachs is something we’ve all felt at some point for a certain special someone; it is a signature of falling head over heels in love. This nail polish is made up of a yellow jelly base with a delicate sprinkling of multi-sized pink and white satin glitters and holographic silver butterflies. " I'm showing three coats below with a glitter taming top coat to smooth out those adorbale butterfly shaped glitter. It covered easily and I didn't really have to dig for the butterflies so that was a plus.

Rainbow butterfly on my ring finger!

Next, we have Monsta Love 2.0.  Here is the description from Sana: "Sometimes your love is so strong and powerful that a mere “I Love You” fails to capture the intensity of your feelings. We’ve brought back an old favorite and changed it up to include a purple jelly base with fuchsia, hot pink, and lavender accents, as well as red holographic hearts. " I think this is one of my favorites of this collection! Three coats with easy application and a glitter smoothing top coat. I had to fish out a few of the hearts but it was so worth it!

Hearts In Her Eyes is next! "Being in love can make a girl giddy with happiness and excitement towards her relationship and fill her head with idealistic fantasies. This light pink lacquer is reminiscent of the girlish crushes we all had growing up. Hearts in her eyes is made up of multi-sized black and white glitter including large circle glitter and hearts, as well as satin purple and red accents." This is definitely a "girly pink" base color and the mix of glitters is interesting! I'm showing three easy coats below with minimal fishing for the big heart glitters. Shown with glitter taming top coat.

Evermore could be my favorite of this collection! "Some relationships are meant to last forever; when it’s real, you’ll just know. Evermore is a bright, shimmery, red jelly nail polish that expresses a vision of everlasting love between two people. Silver, pink, and white glitters accent this polish and create a classic look with some modern sparkle. " This is definitely a pink leaning red jelly base and I love that about it. The glitter combo is gorgeous and I'm showing three coats with no top coat below! A wonderful Valentines Day color!

Another one I really liked from this collection is My Secret Admirer. " Secret admirers are synonymous with flattery and pleasant surprises; you never know what to expect. My Secret Admirer channels the excitement that admirers bring along. A burst of red, and fuchsia glitters in all shapes and sizes shine through a pale pink base." I prefer this pale pink base to the darker one in Hearts In Her Eyes. I had to fish a bit for the heart glitters and I really love the addition of the purple squares! Showing three coats below with glitter taming top coat.

Electric Chemistry is next! "When you’re around that special someone, there is an indescribable allure that consumes you with sparks of passion. It is a sultry and spectacular experience and this nail polish evokes such feelings. Electric chemistry is comprised of micro gunmetal and silver holographic glitters as well as medium light pink accents and black hearts. " This can be worn over a base color as a topper or as I did below with three coats to full coverage. I wanted to show that it definitely is buildable on it's own. The black hearts got covered by my multiple layers of glitter so I'd suggest wearing one or two coats over a base color if the hearts are what you are after. Three coats with a glitter smoothing top coat shown below. No issues to report!

Look at that holographic sparkle!

Black heart glitter is peeking out.

Now for the three glitter toppers!

Girl Meets Boy is a really fun color combo! "They say that men are from Mars and women are from Venus; two completely different creatures. This glitter topper proves that although different, two contrasting personalities can come together and create something that works. Bold black and bright blue glitters meet soft and delicate pink and white in this striking glitter topcoat" I'm showing two coats over OPI No Room For The Blues with a glitter taming top coat. I had to fish out some of the blue hearts so I suggest tipping this upside down for a few minutes prior to use! (Please note, the bubbles are from my top coat and not the polish.)

Love those satin pink and white glitters!

Champagne and Bubble Baths is next! "Nothing compares to the feeling of soaking in a warm, fluffy, pink bubble bath sprinkled with rose petals and a glass of sparkly champagne. This polish was inspired by that feeling and is made up of multi-sized pink hexes and hearts, gold bubbles and accents, and red rose petal hexes. Apply this glitter topper over a multitude of shades to achieve a variety of looks! " This is only ONE coat over Zoya Posh. Amazing glitter density! I did fish out that lone heart on my middle finger, though, so tip upside down before use to help get the heavier glitter toward the brush. Shown with one coat of top coat.

Lastly, we have Love Blossoms. This is what Sana has to say about it: "A great way to express your feelings to a loved one is to surprise them with a gorgeous bouquet of fresh flowers, whether they be roses, tulips, or carnations. This glitter topcoat made up of flowers and small pink, fuchsia, and purple glitters will keep the essence of love right at your fingertips!" I love the added flower shaped glitter in this, as well as the really pleasing color combo of the small hexes! Showing 2 coats below with one coat of top coat. I did dig around for the bigger glitters but it was worth it to have the cute shapes!

(Note: the bubbles are due to my top coat and not the polish)

Red Dog Designs Swatches!

Hello readers! I have some gorgeous new polishes to share with you today! They are from the upcoming Red Dog Designs Ol' Blue Eyes Collection! They are all gorgeous, and I am lucky enough to have three to share with you!

Come Rain Or Come Shine, Young At Heart, and Let's Fall In Love.

Let's start out with Come Rain Or Come Shine! Gina describes it as, "various yellow glitter with iridescent color shift flakies and short slices, with holo silver and microfine glitter in two colors." I"ll be honest, I wasn't sure how I would feel about this yellow glitter but once I had it on, especially paired with Color Club Puccilicious, I fell in love. It's so unique to my stash and the holo even shows in my light box photos! That is saying a lot! I'm showing only ONE coat below with top coat. How awesome is that? So pretty and no issues at all!

So gorgeous, even in the bottle!!

Moving on, we come to Let's Fall In Love. It is described as, "holo silver and gunmetal hexes, with various shades of purple squares and purple micro-slices, with microfine pink holo glitter and purple hearts." Well, hello beautiful! This is a gorgeous combination of glitters and I've paired it with a base coat of SoFlaJo Silverado(which you will see in a post all of it's own tomorrow). This is 1 1/2 coats (I fished for some more hearts for the pics) with top coat. I have no issues to report.

Finally, we come to my very favorite of the group, Young At Heart. This just got a spot in my favorite glitter polishes ever! Such an amazing color combo, I am just dying! Gina describes it as, "various hues, shapes, and sizes of pink, lime holo, teal holo, white glitters, with microfine holo glitter and pink hearts." This is two coats with top coat over Sinful Colors Cool Gray. Seriously so in love with this, I've been wearing it a couple of days! You can't even see the holo in my pics, so imagine a ton of sparkle in person.

Just look at that bottle!!

What do you think of these gorgeous glitter polishes? You can get yours tomorrow, January 25th at 9pm EST!

Full sized bottles are $8.75 each. You can buy them here: http://reddogdesigns.bigcartel.com

SoFlaJo Silverado Swatch and Review!

Good morning, readers! Today's post is on one of the new polishes from SoFlaJo's Matte Love Collection! You got a sneak peek at this if you read my post yesterday because I used Silverado as undies for one of the Red Dog Designs glitters!

Silverado is a shimmery charcoal matte that has holo glitters(sadly, I wasn't able to capture them in my photos). The formula is fabulous and was almost a one coater! I did two to even it out but if you are careful, you may be able to get away with one. I didn't show with top coat because I loved it too much in it's natural matte state.

Look at that shimmer!

What do you think of Silverado? You can see the rest of the Matte Love Collection swatches over at Pointless Cafe HERE and HERE. It's a really fun collection!

The Matte Love Collection polishes retail for $10(15ml) or $5(5ml) and can be purchased in the Etsy shop as well as the SoFlaJo website links below!

Cheeky Summer Collection Stamp Plate Review!

Hello, readers! Right before our big move, I received these awesome stamping plates from Cheeky and have just now been able to really try them out and set up a review for you. I apologize that you had to wait this long, but after loving how my mani turned out using them, I plan on trying out a lot more of the images for you in the near future! I've been neglecting my stamping supplies and want to fix that now!

Let's take a closer look at the Cheeky Summer Collection!

They come in this super cute box for easy storage! I wish I had these for all of my stamping plates!

Once you open the box, you can see the plates as well as this awesome card that can be used as a scraper! I used to use an old drugstore rewards card and this works so much better!

Each plate has a blue protective film as well as backing. Make sure you peel off the blue film before use!

The images are clear and stamp very well! I'm showing you the plate below because that is the plate I've used in this manicure! There are so many cute images in this set, I wish I was better at taking pictures of the plate images for you. I'll just have to try them out a lot so you can see what I've done with them!

I just love the space themed plate! Too cute!

Are you ready to see what I've done with the moon and star design from plate CH46? I chose to do a gradient of two of my new OPI Suedes and then stamped over it.

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of OPI You Don't Know Jacques Suede
Makeup sponge gradient with OPI Russian Navy Suede and YDKJ Suede
1 coat of NYC Grand Central Station to smooth out the surface for stamping
Essie Blue Rhapsody and Cheeky CH46 Moon and Star Design
NYC Grand Central Station top coat

What do you think? Look at how well the image transferred from the Cheeky plate! I'm impressed and can't wait to try out some more images for you!

*They have free worldwide shipping for all orders!*

I am really loving the designs in this set, they are different than the ones I keep seeing repeated by other brands. Well done, Cheeky!

New Nubs And A Fun Indie Pairing...

Hello, readers! If you follow me on Instagram (@adventuresinacetone), you may have seen my photo 3-4 weeks ago of a really low split on my pinkie nail...I'm talking WAY below the free edge. I've been patching it every few days with Orly Nail Rescue and this weekend it had finally grown out enough that I could cut it off. Of course I couldn't just have one super short nail, so I chose to nubbinize all of my nails! Thank goodness short nails grow back faster than short hair cuts! So for the next few weeks, we are going to embrace the nubs because nubs can be pretty, too!

Today in the mail, I received my first Cirque polishes! I have been dying over XX each time I would see it on someone's blog and had to order it for myself (along with Ophelia which I'll try out another day). It is such a gorgeous color and shape mix of holo glitters and I love it!! I chose to pair it with another of my favorite indie polishes, Alter Ego Beachcomber!

A simple mani, but I really like it!

Look at that gorgeous shimmer in Beachcomber!

I just die every time I look at this bottle shot.

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
3 coats of Alter Ego Beachcomber
1 stripe of Cirque XX
Poshe top coat

What do you think of my simple mani? I think it's good for the new short nails.

Dandy Nails Week! Day 1: Started Out with a Kiss

Hello readers! Today starts a new week long event on Adventures In Acetone: Dandy Nails Week! I have 7 new polishes to share with you and we will spotlight one each day. I have to keep you coming back, right?

Anyway, we will start the week off with the most surprising favorite of the bunch: Started Out With A Kiss. Sandy describes it as a, "sheer peach jelly with a delicate shimmer. Accentuated with pastel blues and pinks." If you have been following me for a little while, you will know that nudes and pinks aren't really my favorite polishes. I'm a teal-periwinkle-blue-purple polish girl! But, there is just something about this gorgeous polish that begged me to wear it as a full manicure when I was done swatching. I am not sure what-- maybe it's the shimmer, or maybe it is the gorgeous muted glitter combination. Whatever it is, I am in love.

Below I am showing 2 coats with 1 coat of top coat. I debated on a third coat to hide the slight VNL(Visible Nail Line) but I don't mind it so I left it at 2. The formula was easy to work with and the glitters came out as you see in the photos. I didn't have to dab or manipulate them at all.

Packed with shimmer!

Such a neat color combination!

What do you think of Started Out with a Kiss? Have I converted any of you non-nude lovers?

You can purchase this for $8(15 mL) and $4.50(5 mL) at the Dandy Nails Etsy Shop here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/DandyNails

Dandy Nails Week! Day 2: Bound to Fall

Good morning, readers! Are you excited for Dandy Nails Week? In case you missed it, Day 1 can be found HERE.

It's Day 2 and today I have another favorite to share with you! Bound to Fall is a sneaky polish that was being camera shy for me. It's one that is even more beautiful in person! Sandy describes it as a, "light gray base with black specs and color shifting flakes." The color shifting flakes are the ones being shy (and I know it has a lot to do with my lightbox diffusing the light. They are more sparkly and colorful in direct light).

I am on such a gray kick lately that this was right up my alley! A gorgeous gray tone with great coverage! I'm showing 2 coats below with top coat. I had no issues with application and the flakies are more noticeable in person. (So I guess you will just have to go and buy it right away to see for yourself hehe).

You can see the colored flakies right around the shine from the light.

Tell me your thoughts! I'd love to hear what you think of Bound to Fall and Dandy Nails Week!

You can purchase this for $8(15 mL) and $4.50(5 mL) at the Dandy Nails Etsy Shop here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/DandyNails

Day 1: Started Out with a Kiss
Day 2: Bound to Fall

Today's polish is called Piece of Youth. Sandy describes it as a, "soft blue shimmer base with multi sized yellow glitters." This was the polish I was most excited about when I saw the new collection and it did not disappoint! It's such a fun color combination that I wouldn't have thought to wear together. I'm not a big yellow fan but really like how it is paired with this blue! I chose to do three coats but you could get away with 2 if you do thicker coats. I had no issues with the application and am showing it with top coat below.

Lots of gorgeous shimmer in the blue base!

What do you think of Piece of Youth? I just love it!

Howdy, readers! We are half way through Dandy Nails Week! Are you loving these new polishes as much as I am? If you missed the other posts for Dandy Nails Week, you can find them below:

Day 1: Started Out with a Kiss
Day 2: Bound to Fall
Day 3: Piece of Youth

Today I have one of the two glitter toppers to show you: Wish it Away. Sandy describes it as a, "Holo glitter bomb! Multi colored/sized holographic glitters suspended in a clear base." This was very easy to work with and was really dense, I'm only showing ONE coat below with top coat over Bound to Fall.  So sparkly in the sun and yet really gorgeous glitter colors in the light box, I love it!

What are your thoughts on Wish it Away? I wish I'd been able to get a sunlight picture for you to see how crazy holographic it is.

You can purchase this for $8(15 mL) and $4.50(5 mL) at the Dandy Nails Etsy Shop here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/DandyNails

International Buyers can purchase at Ninja Polish: http://ninjapolish.com/home.php?cat=361

Hello, everyone! Thanks for stopping by and checking out Dandy Nails Week here at Adventures In Acetone! I've been showing you some gorgeous new polishes, please click on the links below if you missed any of the days earlier in the week!

Day 1: Started Out with a Kiss
Day 2: Bound to Fall
Day 3: Piece of Youth
Day 4: Wish it Away

Today's polish is called Paranoia is in Bloom! Sandy describes it as a, "Forest green base with multi colored flakes." The complexity of this polish is gorgeous! I love how different it is! I'm showing 2 coats below with top coat and have no issues to report.

Look at all of the flakes!

What do you think of Paranoia is in Bloom? I'm not a huge dark polish wearer, but the flakes really set this one apart and brighten it up a bit for me!

Good morning, readers! Our Dandy Nails Week is almost over, I hope you have been enjoying it! Don't worry, we still have 2 polishes to take a look at. If you are just joining us for Dandy Nails Week, or missed any earlier posts, you can find them below!

Day 1: Started Out with a Kiss
Day 2: Bound to Fall
Day 3: Piece of Youth
Day 4: Wish it Away
Day 5: Paranoia is in Bloom

Today, we have the second glitter topper from the new Dandy Nails collection: Just Hugs. Sandy describes it as, "red dots, micro, and just a hint of holographic glitter in a clear base. " CIRCLE GLITTERS! I just absolutely love circle glitters, they seem to be coming out more lately and that makes me super happy. It's like instant polka dots! I had no issues with applying Just Hugs and am showing only ONE coat below! Shown with top coat over Ulta Mint Condition.

What do you think of Just Hugs? It's an awesome Valentine's Day glitter but I feel like it could be worn all year long as well!
