Good morning, readers! It's the final day of Black and White Week with The Digit-al Dozen! I've decided to revisit the "pond mani" with a black and white color scheme. I also attempted some simple butterfly shapes using 2 dotting tools and a striper brush.
I decided to try out using a white jelly polish and black for the shapes. Essie Marshmallow is a wonderful white jelly that I need to use more often! Unfortunately, I just don't think I'm a fan of using cloudy jelly polishes for pond manis. My favorite part of pond nail art is seeing through to each layer and these seem too dulled down for my taste.
What are your thoughts? Don't forget to check out my 2 Tutorials on "pond manis" if you want to try them for yourself! (You can find all of my tutorials by clicking the "Tutorials" Tab at the top of the blog!)
Thanks so much for reading this Digit-al Dozen Week!
