Good afternoon, readers! It's time for another nail art week with The Digit-al Dozen! This month's prompt is "summer" and I'm still trying to figure out what I'll be posting on this week. Here in Central Florida, most of the year is "summery" so I am really trying to see what sets Summer apart from the rest of the year for me. Today's post is what you can almost guarantee on a daily basis here during the summer: stormy afternoons. It may be bright and scorching hot all morning and then early afternoon rolls in along with dark clouds and lots of lightning.
This just in: lightning is hard to paint. These still don't really look very lightning-like to me, but it was the best interpretation I could do this morning. The base is OPI Road House Blues.
What do you think? Do you have more storms in the summer where you live? Thanks so much for reading, come back tomorrow for Day 2 of Summer Week with The Digit-al Dozen!
