Good afternoon, readers! KBShimmer released their new Winter Collection on the 1st and I showed you some of them a couple of weeks ago. Adding to the new collection of polishes are new scents to the Cuticle Oil Pen line. This was my first time trying cuticle oil by KBShimmer and I will share my thoughts below on the two new holiday scents I received: Raspberry Vanilla and Peppermint.
Here is a bit of info for you from the KBShimmer site about the cuticle oil:
We started with a base of avocado oil, and added shea butter, apricot oil, wheat germ oil, evening primrose oil, argan oil, jojoba and olive oil. Vitamin E finishes off the base of the cuticle oil.
KBShimmer Raspberry Vanilla Cuticle Oil Pen: To that base, we added our Raspberry Vanilla scent. Full of the sweetness of ripe berries and the creamy flavor of vanilla, this popular scent is a year round favorite.
I really love the scent of this Raspberry Vanilla Cuticle Oil. I wasn't sure what to expect and its just so yummy! I couldn't stop smelling my nails after application!
KBShimmer Peppermint Cuticle Oil Pen: To that base, we added our Peppermint scent. Just like a candy cane, this peppermint has notes of sugary sweetness and the crisp chill that only peppermint essential oil can provide.
I also like wearing this Peppermint cuticle oil scent. It really smells like holiday candy canes and it's unisex enough that I am able to convince Mr. Adventures In Acetone to let me put it on his cuticles after I cut his nails.
The cuticle oil pens each contain 2ml of oil in these awesome applicators. The soft, hollow brush tip easily fills with oil and its so simple to apply to your cuticles quickly. I just twist the bottom a few clicks before applying. These are perfect for your purse as they have a tightly sealed cover and they can't spill in the car during a quick application like some other containers of oil I have.
Below, you can see my easily painting the oil around my nails. It hardly needs any rubbing into the skin and feels really great once applied.
